To Do:
Deliver standards-based lessons
Conduct frequent assessments
Collaborate to respond to assessment data
Modify instruction for each student
Our Mutual Mission
We all want each student to learn to his or her full potential. We educators wrestle with how to do that every day despite budget cuts, large class sizes, students with diverse abilities, and more curriculum to cover than we have time in the classroom. In the face of these challenges, how do we make sure each student achieves?

It makes sense that students will achieve if we clearly define what we want them to learn, frequently measure whether they are learning it, and have a shared plan for how we will modify instruction if they are not learning, or if they have already learned.

Metria’s Role in Achieving It
We create tools to help you put these principles into practice. Our tools help teams create and share unit plans that are aligned with state or Common Core standards. Teachers in turn create standards-based lesson plans, find supporting materials, and share them with colleagues. They can easily capture and view formative assessment data to identify which students need extra help or greater challenge, and track interventions and enrichment activities to ensure that each student is reaching proficiency and staying challenged.

Our tools stand out for their simplicity, comprehensiveness, flexibility, and affordability. We put the tasks you perform most often at your fingertips wherever you have an internet connection. We support the entire spectrum of the instructional process – from planning to instruction to assessment and intervention. We extend your current Student Information System rather than replacing it. Our system design makes optimal use of the latest cloud computing capabilities to reduce costs of acquisition and maintenance.
